The good news--actually the great news--is that Brigitte received acceptance letters from Iolani, Kamehameha, La Pietra, and Punahou. We are deeply grateful for all that Na'au has done for our family. You have not only taught Brigitte specific skills that contributed to her success, but also personal skills in self-confidence, human value, leadership and creativity. We are fortunate to be a part of the Na'au family.

Great news! I just received notice that I was accepted into my first choice boarding school,
The Lawrenceville School in Princeton, New Jersey. I'll miss being in Hawaii,
and boarding school will be a drastic change for me. However, I just wanted to say thank you for
everything. With all your support and help with my
SSAT, admission interview, and application essays, I'm off to a fresh and
exciting start as a Lawrentian. This is my family's dream come true. Thank you so much Aunty Lois and Uncle Mel.

| Why
Na'au's Test Preparation Programs?
|
|
The new SAT includes a third measure of skills --
writing. The new SAT reinforces the importance of
writing throughout a student's education. At Na`au, we are specialists in writing.
The critical reading section of
the new PSAT is a good reflection of the critical reading section on the
new SAT. At Na`au, we are specialists in reading.
The math section of the new PSAT
tests basic junior high and early high school math skills. The
section closely mirrors the math section on the new SAT. At
Na`au,
we contract licensed educators to assist us with preparing our students
for this part of the test.
The SSAT includes a writing
sample. Students are asked to support or argue a topic sentence
using specific examples from personal experience, current events,
history or literature. At Na`au, we are specialists in writing.
The SSAT also consists of 30
synonym and 30 analogy questions and a reading comprehension section,
which includes 40 questions based on about 7 reading passages.
These questions measure the student's ability to read quickly and
comprehend what is read. At Na`au we are specialists in reading.
The SSAT consists of two sections of 25 questions each in
math. The SSAT requires math computation similar to
what is useful in everyday life. Again, at Na`au we reinforce our
student's preparation with an additional licensed educator who is a
specialist in mathematics.
